The Calling

For more than twenty years, Kyle Mauldin Sutton carried a vision God placed in his heart: a ministry where faith becomes action and people walking through difficult seasons find care without shame or judgment.

The vision did not arrive as a finished plan. It grew through prayer, writing, service, and the quiet insistence of a calling that would not let go.

Seven Words on a Church Sign

In 2013, after ignoring his GPS and making a series of wrong turns, Kyle passed a church sign that read:

God's way to JOY: 

Jesus

Others

and You.

He stopped the car.

Those words did not begin the calling. They gave it an order. Jesus first. Others next. You—not forgotten, but living within the joy that comes from loving God and serving people.

Shepherd's Way Publications is the publishing arm of Shepherd's Way Ministries and one of the first parts of the vision taking shape. Its books and related work will also help fund the ministry as the larger vision grows.
