Shepherd's Way Ministries stands within the historic Christian faith.
We believe in one God, eternally Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three persons, one God, and a mystery to be worshipped rather than a puzzle to be solved.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, crucified, risen, and coming again.
We believe Scripture is God's word and the ground under everything we teach.
We believe salvation comes through grace, received by faith, and that no person earns it or outruns it.
We believe the Holy Spirit is at work right now, in ordinary lives, in ordinary weeks.
This ministry is built on a conviction that God has not gone quiet.
He speaks through Scripture first, and every other way He speaks is measured against it. He also speaks through prayer, through the church, through circumstance, and sometimes through a moment so direct that a person never fully recovers from it.
Kyle has had those moments. One of them happened on a walking path in February [YEAR], in the middle of an argument he was having with God at full volume. He asked why God would not answer him. The answer came back: "And what would you have Me say?"
He had nothing. That silence changed his life.
Learning to hear God is not a gift reserved for a few people. It is closer to a skill that most of us were never taught. Shepherd's Way exists in large part to teach it.
It means we will not make you account for your past before we will help you.
It does not mean we think nothing matters. Sin is real, choices have weight, and grace is not the same thing as pretending. Kyle's own account of his life is not a soft one. He names the fear, the running, the poor design, the years lost.
The difference is where we start. We start with grace, because that is where God started with us. What comes after grace is between you and Him, and we will walk with you through it for as long as you want company.
Every person who walks in is a child of God, whether or not they have figured that out yet.
Come with doubt. Come after twenty years away. Come having never opened a Bible. Come sure of everything or sure of nothing. There is no version of you that disqualifies you from sitting down.
Kyle writes about all of this in his blog, Called into Being.
