Our Vision

Shepherd's Way Ministries exists to do what the Good Shepherd did. He fed people. He healed them. He taught them. He gathered them. He gave them hope when they had run out of their own.

That is the whole plan. Everything below is just the shape it takes.

By 2028, Shepherd's Way is being built to be a place where a person can walk in carrying whatever they are carrying and find a meal, a chair, a Bible open on the table, and somebody who will sit with them without asking them to explain themselves first.

We are not there yet. We say this plainly, because a ministry that starts by overstating itself has already lost what it needs most.

Jesus. Others. You.

Kyle read those words on a church sign in 2013 after ignoring his GPS and making several wrong turns. Seven words. They have ordered every decision since.

The order matters more than the words. Jesus first, because nothing here works if He is not the center of it. Others second, because faith that never reaches anybody is just an opinion. You last, and this is the part people resist, because you are not left out of the equation. You are simply not the first term in it. The strange result of putting yourself third is that you finally get filled.

Every program Shepherd's Way brings into being will be tested against that order.

Kyle was homeless in 2008. Some people from his church helped him. Others found out and were embarrassed for him, and asked questions that were really accusations.

Shepherd's Way is being built for the second group of people, the ones who got the questions.

Nobody here will ask you how you ended up where you are before deciding whether to help. Nobody will treat your struggle as evidence of your character. If you come hungry, you get fed. If you come with questions, the questions are welcome. If you come ready to serve, there is a place beside us.

Two ministries, and one company that helps pay for them.

Joyful Connections is the Bible study and community side of Shepherd's Way. It opens Scripture with people rather than at them, and it makes room for the person who has never held a Bible and the person who has read it for forty years and still has questions. Joyful Connections begins meeting in [MONTH] 2026.

Spiritelligence is the spiritual guidance and coaching side. It helps people recognize how God speaks to them and tell His voice apart from fear, old wounds, and other people's expectations. Spiritelligence opens for sessions in [MONTH] 2026.

Shepherd's Way Publications is a separate company, founded by Kyle, that publishes faith-centered books and directs its profits into building this ministry. Buying a book supports the work here. Publications is active now, with God Speaks: A Dialogue available and four new titles releasing through late 2026.

2026. Joyful Connections and Spiritelligence begin. God Speaks: A Dialogue releases in its second edition, followed by the first titles in the Whispers series.

2027. [Incorporation and nonprofit filing / building the founding board / first workshop series / whatever is true. Fill this in.]

2028. [The physical or programmatic thing you are actually reaching for. A location? A feeding ministry? A weekly gathering? This is the page's whole payoff and I do not want to invent it.]

Because this vision is more than twenty years old and has been rushed before.

Kyle first heard the call at sixteen and ran from it. He answered it in 2011 and then tried to build it on his own timing. Shepherd's Way is being brought into being slowly and on purpose, one funded step at a time, with nothing promised before it can be delivered.
